M.S. or Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistantship in AGROECOLOGY

The candidate will conduct research on the ecological performance of biomass cropping systems. Required qualifications include: passion for developing bioenergy systems, a strong background in an environmental science, some previous field research experience with soil and water, some experience with GIS, ability to work in a collaborative environment, experience with systems science and modeling, and demonstrated quantitative, writing, team, and leadership skills.

Iowa State University is a large, public institution located in Ames, Iowa (www.iastate.edu), with many, diverse, and vibrant graduate programs. A Graduate Research Assistantship at Iowa State University includes a stipend of $20,220 per year, full tuition waiver, research project costs, and health insurance.
