Position Description
Take this opportunity to get experience managing intensively trafficked turfgrass areas while working towards your M.S. degree. This position is funded by the University of Connecticut Dept. of Facilities to serve as the Head Turfgrass Manager for an intensively trafficked turfgrass area on campus constructed with a sand‐based root zone. The student will work closely with UConn Turfgrass faculty to implement a well‐rounded turfgrass management plan utilizing the latest equipment and resources. The student will also conduct applied sports turf research related to enhancing turfgrass traffic tolerance while completing all graduate degree requirements.

Qualifications
. B.S. degree in Turfgrass Management, Plant Science, Soil Science or related field is preferred.
. Previous turfgrass management experience is highly desirable.
