M.S. GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP IN TURFGRASS MANAGEMENT
A M.S. graduate research assistantship in turf grass management is available for a qualified candidate to begin research in August 2014. Research will focus on turf grass weed ecology. This is a funded assistantship in the Department of Plant and Soil Science at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS.
The candidate must be highly motivated to pursue an advanced degree and have a B.S. in turf grass science, plant science, agronomy, horticulture, soil science, or related field. The candidate must also have an interest in conducting practical field based research pertaining to a range of topics and the ability and willingness to obtain a Mississippi driver’s and pesticide applicator’s license.
