The Ruminant Nutrition Program is offering several graduate assistantships for students seeking a M.S. or Ph.D. degree. Students with laboratory and animal handling/sampling experience are preferred. We are seeking for highly motivated students, especially those who are interested in becoming involved in research projects related to improving nutrient utilization, milk component manipulation through nutrition, and feed efficiency in dairy cattle. Selected students will start this program in summer and/or fall 2014.
Requirements for application include:
- Nutrition laboratory skills, animal handling experience, and intense work ethics.
- Resume or CV.
- Letter of application:
- Transcripts of grades from previous studies.
- TOEFL scores (international students).
- GRE scores are not mandatory but highly recommended.
- At least two letters of reference (recommendation).
