Graduate Assistantship for both teaching and research assistantships for qualified students seeking programs leading to a Ph.D. degree. Highly qualified students seeking an M.S degree will be also eligible for teaching assistantships.
Applications should be submitted by February 15, 2014. Compensation packages include competitive stipends and tuition assistance. Research opportunities are available in the following areas: Xylem and phloem differentiation and function, food and agricultural systems, urban forestry, sustainable landscapes and storm water, management of container-grown crops, sustainable agriculture, organic production, international development, land use change, agro-ecology, nursery and greenhouse crop production, commercial tree fruit production, small fruit production, container production of herbaceous perennials, microbial plant and microbial ecology, grapevine physiology and general viticulture, plant-microbe interactions and biofuels, and crop genomics.
